Imagine Downtown Greensboro without Triad Stage. The loss of top-quality professional theater, the loss of customers to downtown restaurants, the loss of excited patrons crowding the lobby before each show — the vibrancy of Downtown Greensboro would take a real hit if Triad Stage were to close its doors.
Unfortunately, this dismal picture could become a reality.
We need your support at a critical time for Triad Stage. Faced with severe financial pressure, we have cut staff and internal operations. However, it is clear we cannot maintain this pace.
There is nothing left to cut.
There is an answer, if you and others like you that love Triad Stage will step in to help meet an extraordinary challenge issued by two of our City’s Foundations. The Bryan Foundation and The Cemala Foundation have committed to $250,000 in additional funding for Triad Stage, but only if we can raise the matching funds from our community.
From now until December 31st, each new or increased gift to Triad Stage will be matched 1:1. A new or increased gift of $50 becomes $100 and $500 becomes $1,000.
